How To Play

Welcome to BEAK! This is a prediction game where you guess who will win at figure skating competitions. The more accurate your guesses, the more points you get!

You make predictions for 4 different categories: Men, Women, Pairs, and Ice Dance. Your total score is the sum of all your points from all 4 categories.

1. Podium Predictions

For each category, guess who will win Gold (1st place), Silver (2nd place), and Bronze (3rd place).

Perfect Guess

Right Person, Right Place

Gold correct → 10 points
Silver correct → 7 points
Bronze correct → 5 points

Close Guess

Right Person, Wrong Place

Predicted Gold, got Silver/Bronze → 6 points
Predicted Silver, got Gold/Bronze → 4 points
Predicted Bronze, got Gold/Silver → 3 points

Not on Podium

If your skater doesn't finish in the top 3

0 points

2. Short Program Winner

Guess who will win the Short Program (the first part of the competition).

Correct Short Program winner → 8 points

Your pick finishes 2nd or 3rd → 3 points

Otherwise → 0 points

3. Winning Score Guess

Guess the final winning score (the total points the winner will get).

The closer your guess is to the actual score, the more points you get!

Perfect guess (exact match) 10 points

Very close (within 0.5%) 8 points

Close (within 1%) 6 points

Pretty close (within 1.5%) 4 points

Somewhat close (within 2%) 2 points

Too far off (more than 2% away) 0 points

4. Perfect Discipline Bonus

If you get everything right for one category, you get an extra bonus!

If you get:

• All 3 podium spots correct in the right order, AND
• Short Program winner correct, AND
• Score guess within 1%

+5 Bonus Points!

5. How Your Total Score Works

For each category (Men, Women, Pairs, Ice Dance), you get:

Podium points + Short Program points + Score Guess points + Bonus (if you got it)

All your points from all 4 categories are automatically added together to give you your total score.

The player with the highest total score wins!
